El viernes pasado, en la celebración de la Fiesta del Primer Aceite de esta campaña 2009-10, la Denominación de Origen Aceite de Navarra, dio a conocer al ganador, ganadora en este caso, del conurso "Gana tu peso en oro". La afortunada, Esther Díez del Valle, que vino de Zaragoza, se llevó su peso (y el de su amigo más "pesado") en Aceite de Navarra. En total, 187 litros de aceite. Que no está nada mal...
En el mismo acto, se hizo entrega de la Aceituna de Oro a Víctor Manuel Sarobe, importante estudioso de la gastronomía navarra y recopilador de más de 1.300 recetas tradicionales de la riqueza culinaria foral. Con la entrega de este galardón, la Denominación quiso reconocer su importante colaboración en la difusión de este producto, tradicional en Navarra desde hace ya varios siglos.
